Unfortunately I expected more of this 2 CD set. I thought a lot of the performances were not quite up to the standard one is used to from American Entertainers. While Celeste Holm was a wonderful artist I think her best is past, yet Betty Garrett was ok. (even reviewing this in 2008 from a 1995 recording) Some lovely music but overall I think it could have been performed better. In all of this I realise it was a benefit concert so good luck to the performers.

I love Arlen. I love show tunes. Having so many songs on just two cds is great!
