I have heard these songs on the CD and have heard the group in person. They are a wonderfully talented group whose sound beautifully transfers to the recorded media. I recommend this for the full range of listeners -- from classical enthusiasts to those who love folk music. The songs come from around the world and some are sung in the native tongues. The "Ayr Hyd Y Nos", which we know as "All Through the Night" and the "Au Clair de la Lune" are gentle and sensitive melodies given new life by the arrangers (one of which is the conductor in this collection). This is a great addition to any listener's collection!!

Can someone tell me if The Skye Boat Song on this album is a vocal version of the song: Over the sea to Skye\ The Skye Boat Song ? I'm looking for a vocal, not an instrumental version of this song, and I would prefer a Scottish version of it, since it is a Scottish song; Skye being one of the Hebredian islands off of the west coast of Scotland. I'll take any vocal version available, however, since I've yet to find any. Thank you. Kahana @ sprint .com
