Over the Moon: The Broadway Lullaby Project is both a timeless benefit effort and a uniquely compelling multimedia experience. The ambitious project which incorporates a 2 CD, 26 song set and a lavishly illustrated hardcover book of 17 songs from the album. Also there is corresponding e-book encompassing the entire collection which gathers many of contemporary musical theatres greatest composers and vocalists all of whom have donated their talent to deliver an emotionally affecting set of new lullabies, some written specifically for this project. The project will raise money for such respected breast cancer charities as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Young Survival Coalition. The 2 Cd Set features performances by AUDRA MCDONALD, RAUL ESPARZA, MICHAEL CERVERIS, ANIKA NONI ROSE and VANESSA WILLAMS.

Let's face it, first-time moms need lots of "stuff:" diaper pails, car seats, pack 'n plays and more. But if it's a mom's second or third baby, she might be up to her eyeballs in onesies and bibs. Finding just the right gift can be a struggle.
Enter "Over the Moon." This beautiful CD of lullabies is written and sung by some of Broadway's greatest talents, and it is perfect for rocking, snuggling, singing and sharing with a little one.
A portion of your dollars will fund two breast cancer charities, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Young Survival Coalition, as well as the Public Interest Projects. I love product that allow me to give and "give back" at the same time.

Simply lovely, and a great value. Every song is a gem! The Raul Esparza song is especially touching, and Vanessa Williams sings like an angel.

I found all of this album dull, rambling, and uninspired except those composers one would expect more from (Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz, Charles Strouse, Lucy Simon) I am sorry I bought it.
