I was advised to read Over the Top so that I could learn how to set goals. This book helped me in every area of my life. I will usually start a book and never completely finish it or skip parts that do not interest me, but I did not want to skip anything because I was mesmerized by everything he had to say. I was like a sponge, soaking up all his sound advice. I can say this book has truly changed my life for the better and I would recommend everyone that wants to make a positive difference in their lives to read it.

This is one of the greatest audio cassette I ever bought in my life. Believe me, most audio cassettes are so boring that you fall asleep after listening for a few minutes. But Zig Ziglar is so great - he presents in a very simple, yet effective and interesting manner that will make you sit up and replay the casette over and over again. My husband and I listen to his cassette on our way to work. It inspires us so much that we call Zig our Guru. We have not had the opportunity of hearing Zig speak in person (we are from Malaysia) but having him (ok his voice!!) in our car and in our house is one of the greatest thing that has ever happened to us. You should get this audio cassette - you won't regret it!

Zig Ziglar is one of the top motivational speakers in the world and he is nothing short of exceptional in Over The Top. He speaks with such enthusiasm and gives the listener the desire and confidence to bring about the changes they desire in their life. Ziglar gives step by step instructions on how to develop the the best qualities of life so you can have "more of the things money will buy, and all of the things money won't buy." You will never grow tired of listening to these recordings. They are simply a must if you truly desire a change for the better in your life

This book is Zig in classic form. It's encouraging, motivating, and honest. Zig presses us to be people of compassion and character. It's obvious that he believes in old fashion success through hard work. The audio book is just as good as the hard copy. There are many stories from real life people who have moved from "survival to stability." You can't read this book without being encouraged. I really appreciated the fact that Zig doesn't offer pie in the sky. He is practical and honest. You have to get motivated, set goals, plan ahead, embrace good moral values, and work hard. This book is like a guidebook on how to live out the American dream.

Zig has a pleasant, interesting and entertaining writing style which made me keep on wanting to read more until I came to the end of the book without realizing it. This is among the best books on the market to help you acquire good habits, get rid of bad ones, acquire positive attitude and character and chart for yourself a destiny of remarkable success and achievement.

Zig Ziglar definately gives alot of thoughts and ideas in the book. Some of the things he said, really hit home to me and I felt I could really apply what he was talking about.

I listened to the Book on Tape. I just wish he wouldn't yell so much as he is talking. I had to keep adjusting the volume dial.

Other than that, it is a great book on tape.

I am a christian and have read the post about the person trying to make void what Zig teaches because he is a Christian. It is probably a good guess that the post was from someone that does not know God. I love Zig, his books are awesome and his insights; I am sure come from the Holy Bible and God. The truth always comes from God. I love all of the posts for this review. I even like the one from the anti-christian because in a way it shows that God can work through his willing and obedient people to teach men the best way to live.Some people want all the rewards w/o the sacrifice.
