I was advised to read Over the Top so that I could learn how to set goals. This book helped me in every area of my life. I will usually start a book and never completely finish it or skip parts that do not interest me, but I did not want to skip anything because I was mesmerized by everything he had to say. I was like a sponge, soaking up all his sound advice. I can say this book has truly changed my life for the better and I would recommend everyone that wants to make a positive difference in their lives to read it.

"In my own life I always pray for guidance as I choose my goals," writes Ziglar. In the margin I dated it and wrote "I do too." This book contains so much rich, practical, doable wisdom, not wonder it's a classic for achievers. Persistence leads to desired results. He quotes Robert Collier in making the point when he noted, "Success is the sum of small efforts--repeated day in and day out."

Ziglar talks about seeing one's self in the mind's eye as a prelude to accomplishment. "I dreamed overy forty years ago that I would be traveling the world, making speeches to every conceivalbe kind of group. I literally saw myself in front of vast audiences making those talks," he tells us.

On feeding success mentally, he reminds us of the necessity to surround ourselves with people who are going to edify us. He adds, "read good books." This is one such good book. Read it!

This is one of the greatest audio cassette I ever bought in my life. Believe me, most audio cassettes are so boring that you fall asleep after listening for a few minutes. But Zig Ziglar is so great - he presents in a very simple, yet effective and interesting manner that will make you sit up and replay the casette over and over again. My husband and I listen to his cassette on our way to work. It inspires us so much that we call Zig our Guru. We have not had the opportunity of hearing Zig speak in person (we are from Malaysia) but having him (ok his voice!!) in our car and in our house is one of the greatest thing that has ever happened to us. You should get this audio cassette - you won't regret it!
