Great CD!
This is a great CD. He should've won American the season he was on the show! Guess that's why they have a new rule for the 2009 season of American Idol - "Judge's Save"- in case the public voting makes another terrible mistake!

You'll Get Over This Song Quickly
First off, I like Daughtry, I was a fan of his during season 5, and I've widely supported his songs when they came out, however, this song was a major misstep for the album, and even more of a mistake to put on radio. I mean, the verses are boring, the lyrics are sub-par, and the chorus wears on you very quickly. Thus, when it's played to death be evil DJ's the song loses...

If you are a Daughtry fan you'll enjoy this song. Great melody and great voice to go along with it. Take a listen and judge for yourself.

First off, I like Daughtry, I was a fan of his during season 5, and I've widely supported his songs when they came out, however, this song was a major misstep for the album, and even more of a mistake to put on radio. I mean, the verses are boring, the lyrics are sub-par, and the chorus wears on you very quickly. Thus, when it's played to death be evil DJ's the song loses all its little luster, and instead gets to be one of the most annoying songs of the year.
So overall, a mistake for Daughtry, and one that will hopefully go away soon, before my sanity is lost. He has a lot better songs than this, so go buy those instead. |
