This case is fabulous. We have a pool with outdoor entertainment and speakers that are controlled by our ipad. We have been looking for something like this for a long time. This case is great because you can sit in the pool or spa and control the music or just play without worrying about getting the ipad wet. It floats and ours has been fully submerged without any difficulty. The top has these special closures that don't allow the water to penetrate. It actually works really well. We have an 8 year old who also plays with it in the pool and it is still holding up well. I was a little hesitant the first time we used this case, but now after many uses I am now confident with its seal. It is a great product and I would definitely recommend it. I also bought the water proof case for the iphone. I hope it works as well.

If you are using by the water Xclusively and not in the Sun..GREAT! Fogs up in the Sun (Humidity,inside) Yikes.
Creates it's own condensation inside even if you use the little crytals bag that came with it. Not shock(drop)proof, be careful. Otherwise, you are getting exactly what you want!

I have dipped this bad boy, with iPad inside, into the water several times, completely submerged. No problem but I try not to make it a habit. It also catches enough air in their to allow it to float. Again, I'd advise testing this in a pool but not the lake. However, it will float, assuming you haven't vacuumed too much of the air out. I'm buying one of these for a Christmas present but will actually be looking elsewhere for a lower priced product.
Also, the sound carries through fairly well. Next step is a wireless bluetooth receiver so I can watch Netflix in the hottub without turning off the jets haha thank God for America.
My only "Con" is that the transparent material feels like it could be torn without too much force. But I've had this for 3 months so far and no problems. Just continue to treat your iPad like a baby and you'll be fine.

Love it. Very easy to tell if it is fully closed. I have not actively take this into the water and do not plan to but I do not hesitate to take my iPad to the pool or out on the boat. It does not add significant reflection to the view. For charts on the boat it is a must have.

Love this!! My son is on a swim team and can wait hours between events. He was always afraid to bring his iPad for fear of getting it wet. Now he has something to keep him occupied. Have also purchased the ones for iPhone and works great. Forgot I had my phone around my neck when kayaking and jumped into the lake no problem. The great thing is you can use devices while in the bag.

Our iPad is the user interface for our Sonos Jukebox system that we have set up down at the shop. Because it is in a work and play (pool) area, we had to have something sturdy to protect it.
This case is perfect and doesn't interfere in the least with the process of scanning through the music options. The only time we take it out of the case is for charging the iPad.
Not only do I not worry about the iPad getting wet, but I also don't have to worry about dirty hands, sawdust, and food getting on it.
Adendum: Someone took the iPad out of it's cover and then dropped it handing it off to someone else. I'm convinced they wouldn't have dropped it if had still been in the cover and that the screen wouldn't have cracked even if they did drop it. New rule - must use cover.
