Destined to be a classic
This is the best study on the works of the flesh vs the Fruit of the Spirit I've ever read. I actually took time to study through it twice. Both times it was very challenging.

Somewhat Disappointed
I purchased this book with the knowledge that it was used, but with the assurance that it was in very good condition. It took a long time to get to me, and once it arrived it was all dog-eared, the front was bent, and the entire book has been written in. I was disappointed to say the least, but it seems to have all its pages and I know it will be a good read.

Great value, June 20, 2008
This review is from: The Overcoming Life (Paperback)
I'm only about half way through reading this book, so my review is admittedly a little hasty, but what I've read so far has been so good that I have no doubt the rest will be equally satisfying. The author does a study on each of the sins of the flesh (jealousy, strife, etc.), then goes on to the fruits of the Spirit. He spends a chapter on each topic. I've found it to be very interesting. He tells the reader up front that if the church is to enter its "promised land" we will have to go through a spiritual circumcision (relating this to the children of Israel crossing the Jordan). God is going to cut away our fleshly, carnal nature so that we will be able to walk in all that He has for us in these end times. A small book for a small price, but you get a lot for your money!
