Dr Tomeko Mitsui was the physician who invented the powerful far-infrared device, onnetsuki. She used this device to provide treatment to thousands of seriously ill patients in Japan, many of them were terminal stage cancer patients who were abandoned by mainstream hospitals. Her treatment experiences are documented in this book which is a translated version of her original book in Japanese.
I found the book extremely useful and relevant. For people who appreciate moxibustion and would like to learn to use this modified and improved moxibustion therapy for themselves or to treat patients, this is a great resource. I've used many of the treatment plans with great results. The book has treatment plans for 14 types of cancer and 16 groups of difficult illnesses. This book has a little shortcoming - many grammatical and spelling mistakes! If you can live with these glaring mistakes, then it is a great book! |
