I had a pulley system that was given to me by my physical therapist when I had my other rotator cuff injury. This system is far superior in design and quality to the old system.
It is very simple to put together. It took me just a few minutes to put this together and I recently had rotator cuff surgery.
I highly recommend this item for anyone that has rotator cuff problems.

This shoulder exercise pulley has been everything that I expected. Fast delivery, easy to assemble, mounts over my doors and has helped me rehab from rotator cuff surgery.

Well if you are reading this review my condolences, good luck with your shoulder surgery and rehab.

The Good:
Solid, well built.

The Bad:
Personally I did not care for this devices and can't recommend it for a couple of reasons:
1. Hanging of a hollow core door this did seem stable, worked better off a six panel door.
2. I prefer the stretch and pull directly overhead not at an angle. We re-engineered his to hang off a floor joist in the basement so it was directly over my head and as sturdy as the Rock of Gibraltar (maybe not quite as sturdy, but it was solid).

The Ugly,
I tore my Rotator Cuff again and am going back to surgery so I get to use it again.

Bottom line, save your money get a hanger hook screw, pulley, and a piece of rope. Good luck!!

I ordered this pulley for my husband who had rotator cuff surgery 8 months ago. He is trying to get full range of motion back so he can throw a softball
again. It fits nicely over the door and has rubber cushion pads to protect the door. It was very easy to set up and the string can be easily adjusted to
the length you need. He is using it and he is very happy with it.

This is great item. It's very well made and hangs easily over the door. It has been very beneficial to my upper back and shoulders. I would greatly recommend it.

I was looking for an over the door pulley with one pulley like I had used at physical therapy, for treatment of a dislocated shoulder. My husband who is a firm believer that more is better, bought this one with 2 pulleys. This is one of the most useless purchases he has ever made. Look at the placement of the pulleys, for the pulley up against the door there is no where to move your arm. You can move it up and down but not out to the side. I have many joint and bone issues I was recently in the hospital for a fractured pelvis and the only pulleys in the occupational therapy room were all single pulleys that were mounted parallel to the door not vertical to the door as this one is.

I was using a pulley system at PT for rehab of my rotator cuff. I asked the therapist if doing the same exercise at home would be worth doing and since it would I investigated a pulley system. This one works well and I chose it because it stands away from the door and allows me to sit -- as the exercise requires.

My mother had shoulder surgery so I got her this to work on her motion. The two pulley wheels at the top are awkward and never stay where they're supposed to... Not really sure why there are two. Aside from that, it still works well and has helped her. Seems like it would be sturdy enough for anyone's size.
