Jana, I don't think that is it considering that my local library uses Overdrive and on most books that I check out Overdrive will send me to Amazon to download it. Amazon is already working with Overdrive to send the books to my Kindle Fire so I wonder why the app is not available?
When I selected the app it listed my smartphone and my Kindle Fire HD as compatible. Now however it doesn't show on my Fire at all. When I try to "purchase" it directly from my Fire, it says I already own this and to check my Library. Big FAIL.
[UPDATE] I removed the purchase, then from my Kindle Fire HD I when to the Apps Store and "purchased" OverDrive Media Console again. That allowed me to add it to my Kindle and it works fine.
I got thr overdrive app 2 weeks ago. all it does is play numerous 1-2.minute videos of how!tos but you cant navigate to the library or anything is this how it s supposed to work? should i temove it and reinstall? i am new to the kindle world
I have uninstalled and re-installed over 4 times. I must be doing something wrong. After you install the app is there something special that needs to be done? I can get the books to read. I just can't download the audio books. Any suggestions? Thanks.
