Product Description

Isabella Natale is living a double life. By day she turns out desserts in the family bakery. But at night she transforms into The Crimson Rose, Chicago's hottest exotic dancer, an enigmatic siren whose velvet mask and G-string drive men wild. Nobody knows about her secret-- not even Nick Santori, the strip club's hot new bodyguard-- and her first crush. He'd always treated little "Izzy" as just another sweet kid. But there's nothing sweet about his sizzling reaction to Rose...

So what's a girl to do but show the man of her dreams that while it's okay to look, it's much better to touch?

Isabella and Nick both feel that they escaped Chicago and their overbearing families and now are feeling trapped. Nick and Isabella have a long history and when they meet again - it's great reading! Looking forward to more from this family - One Wild Wedding Night due out Jan. 2008.

4.0 out of 5 stars entertaining torrid contemporary romance, September 11, 2007
In Chicago, former marine Nick Santori knew Isabella Natale when she was little "Izzy" growing up in Little Italy. When he sees her in her family's bakery, Nick thinks she is beautiful and wants her. When she sees Nick in the bakery, her feelings of wanting him as a teen remains as strong as an adult.

Nick works as a bodyguard at a night club that some might say is a strip joint. Though confused and wondering how shallow he feels; as he desires Izzy, Nick also has the hots for exotic dancer Crimson Rose, whose velvet mask is almost as enticing as her exotic G-string. Crimson Rose knows the new bodyguard as she has desired him since they grew up in Little Italy together. Although as Izzy she does not have the guts to seduce Nick, as her alterego Rose she does.

This is an entertaining torrid contemporary romance that seems a bit over the top as Nick fails to realize that Crimson Rose is his Izzy. The story line is character driven by Izzy whether she is the baker or the erotic dancer. In either persona, she knows she loves Nick, but assumes he does not reciprocate beyond being a pal. He will prove her wrong as he willingly is seduced by the dancer and plans to seduce the baker because he may feel fickle but loves "both" women.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good story & characters, but this mask and dancing thing is ridiculous!, October 20, 2010

Great character build up, good story, humorous sections!
But the way author describes the workings of a strip club and that the main female character is so spell-binding that no one moves when she's on, is laughable, author obviously has no clue how strip clubs really are. And when I'm reading conversations between the 2 main characters and conversations they are having that are seemingly 20 minutes, and female character is STILL wearing this ridiculous mask, you just wanna go, ...seriously?!

Together they lost themselves to the power of it until Nick shouted and came deep inside her, sending Izzie spiraling over the edge again, too. "e;
