5.0 out of 5 stars Best bag ever!, March 5, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I searched high and low for a bag that was small enough to throw in a diaper backpack, but big enough to hold a wallet, car keys and a cell phone in case I needed to use it separately. I found it in this bag. When you wear it across your shoulder, it sits nicely on your hip and does not bounce around as much as other bags and even stays somewhat in place when you bend over (like to pick up a child). It has a lined cell phone pocket inside the zippered compartment, which is nice, but I keep my phone inside the front compartment closed by a magnet because it is easier to lift that flap that to unzip the other when the phone is ringing. If you want to ditch a wallet altogether, it has credit card slots in the zippered compartment (although the cards are a very tight fit) and a small zippered area where you could put coins in the front magnetic pocket. The credit card slots are organized so that they are across from your hip and facing you when wearing the bag and the zippered compartment is open. This makes it easy to see which card to pull without having to take the bag off - very convenient. The very back pocket closest to your hip is just one big pocket with no organization - perfect for misc. items like a camera, small wallet or compact. I wish the bag was a little bit smaller since it actually has more room than I need, but I still love it! I haven't tried wearing it as a fanny pack, but it's neat that you have that option when you don't want a big strap across your chest.

5.0 out of 5 stars man bag, March 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this to carry all of my junk on a trip to Italy. It's very well made and holds credit cards, money, cell phone, keys, pocket camcorder, small Italian Dictionary along with a small note book. I still have room for more. I discovered I could shorten the strap enough to wear it around my waist. I think this is just what the doctor ordered.

4.0 out of 5 stars Waist pack with a wallet organizer - Great little bag, July 13, 2010

This review is from: Overland Equipment Bayliss Bag (Sports)
The Overland Bayliss is a small crossbody bag that converts to a waist pack. I own waist packs from Eddie Bauer and Kiplinger and while they are awesome, the Bayliss actually has a wallet organizer which means you can leave your wallet at home when you wear this bag. It has 6 credit card slots and a secure place for bills and change. That is what I love about this bag and what sold it for me. Every section is zippered which means you can take it on an upside down rollercoaster and feel safe. There are even two fleece-lined pockets where you can put delicate items like reading glasses *without* the case or a digital camera. They will not scratch. This is a great little bag and I'm glad I purchased it (despite owning many crossbody bags and two waist packs already).
