This is a rather stylish "backpack" that is best for travel and day hike. It wraps around your body nicely with one strap. It can actually carry a lot more stuffs than it looks. The mesh behind it is good for evaporating sweat especially during hiking. It has three zipped compartments: one small, one medium and the other large. It also has a open pocket for a small water bottle at the front just above the small zipped compartment. I have used this "backpack" for my fishing, hiking and rock climbing trip --- loving it. Sturdy and somewhat water resistant but don't count on it under the rain.

Old one was a better bag, had more clever storage pockets and waist strap. However the new one is a bit bigger and more capacity. The old one had its' zipper fail after five years of daily use.

This bag is awesome, and carries a lot for its size. I am able to fit my 10" netbook and several diapers and other "Mom" items in it. Perfect for on the go people who need to keep their hands free. Wipes down well, and is water resistant. I bought my mom the one in blue, and she uses hers constantly, too!

I purchased this bag to use on a trip to Honduras. I loved how much it held and how easy it was to carry. I could get things out of it and stow things as well quicker. It was much easier to get on and off than a regular backpack.

i just got my backpack today,and while i haven't had a chance to use it yet, i am very impressed with the quality. the last time i had a backpack this nice was in school ten years ago, and since then its been nothing better than Eastsport.

it is a bit smaller than i'd expected, but the pockets are layered nicely and when i stretched the pack out it displayed potential to carry a surprising amount of stuff. I'm looking forward to using it this summer.
