Product leaves a more natural color than most other products. Best applied to the sponge than wipe it onto skin (may also be better to apply in the bathtub to avoid a mess).
Also, best to apply at night and let dry (about 30-minutes) then sleep on an old sheet so that you stain your best sheets.

I use this for ballroom dance competitions where you want a almost unnatural tan. I wouldn't use this for everyday use, but for competitions it's a great option. To get that dark color, you must apply 2-3 applications. This product has acetone in it, which I found out I was allergic to so this caused me to break out in a rash. Therefore, I've moved on to better options for myself.
