Book Description

July 1, 1999
He needed a woman...

Grant Waverly was a confirmed bachelor—until he found out he was married! Apparently he'd really married Katie Donovan, his college sweetheart and one and only true love, seven years ago. Now his boss expected Mr. and Mrs. Waverly to join him and his wife for two long, very important, very intimate weeks!

And got a wife!

There was a time when Katie would have given anything to be married to Grant...but now she wasn't so sure. Two weeks of passionate kisses, sensual caresses and waking up next to Grant would have any woman running...straight to the altar—again!

OOPS! STILL MARRIED!

And the honeymoon has just begun!

More About the Author

I'm southern by adoption. I was born and raised in Upstate NY, but when the cold weather, snow and ice became more than either my hubby or I wanted to endure yearly, we migrated to Florida. We now live not far from one of the most fascinating cities in the US -- our adopted hometown of St. Augustine, the oldest city in the US. When my creative writing juices dry up, a trip to the the Ancient City section of St. Augustine never fails to get them flowing again.

5.0 out of 5 stars A true delight to behold!, August 27, 1999
By
This review is from: The Overnight Groom (Harlequin American Romance, No. 787) (Paperback)
Elizabeth Sinclair has delivered a wonderful romance in her latest release, "The Overnight Groom." This delightful tale is fun, heartwarming and, at times, downright moving. While her main characters of Grant and Katie shine, it's Sinclair's secondary cast that keeps the action fun and moving. Harriet, the goodhearted boss' wife and Lizzie, Katie's eccentric mother, are adorable meddlers. As true love conquers all, "The Overnight Groom" is a true delight to behold.

5.0 out of 5 stars An unusual twist on much loved storyline, August 12, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Overnight Groom (Harlequin American Romance, No. 787) (Paperback)
I read this book in one sitting. The characters were wonderful, especially the heroine's mother, Lizzie. We all should have a mother like her! She gives us great insight to what motivates a woman to marry and divorce many times. Elizabeth Sinclair, with her usual style and grace, tapped into a second-chance story and then twisted it all up beautifully. The outcome was a really enjoyable read--and a hope that she brings Lizzie back in another book!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant jump off the pages, August 8, 1999
This review is from: The Overnight Groom (Harlequin American Romance, No. 787) (Paperback)
Grant and Katie ARE Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn. The repartee is sparkling. The timing and pacing is brilliant. Remember THE PHILADELPHIA STORY with Kate and Cary? The same fast-paced romantic comedy style. A must read!
