When I first received these I couldn't believe the high level of softness and was initially very happy with my purchase out of the box. But softness is not all I need in a towel--I need them to dry me off. These do NOT absorb the water (basic function of a towel, right?) When I dry myself off it's like I'm rubbing the wet, cold water everywhere but inside the towel. It's so frustrating. I've washed them many times in the hope they just needed to breakdown a little, but it's not working. I'll probably just use them as handtowels in the guestbath or give them to donation. I don't recommend.

Order this item and received it very fast. Excellent quality just as described soft, vibrant color and displays great craftmanship.

It does not feel absorbent. Not heavy and substantial like I expected for a 600 gram towel. I will have to go buy an 800 or 900 gram towel next time. This is too light and fluffy. I was expecting a heavy, thick, absorbent towel.

I bought these towels a few months ago and I love them. The colours are beautiful and they come wrapped. These towels are very soft and fluffy and they get the job well done. I am so pleased that I'm going to buy some for my mom and more for myself. great buy!

I bought a complete set of these towels. The "zero twist" labeling is correct, and they are a deep, rich color with a heavy fluff. But what is the one thing you want a towel to do? DRY! These do not. I don't know what kind of cotton they use that is different from other brands, but they are NOT absorbent. You really have to work at drying your hair/self when you get out of the shower, and then it feels like you are just moving the water around. I do not recommend these towels if you actually intend to use them, but would be OK for display only in a guest bathroom.

I ordered 4 sets of these towels, bath, hand, and washcloth for our two bathrooms. I washed them straight off knowing they would "shed." They did, but the result was a much fluffier towel than I received. They are a bit compressed in the mailing package. The colors are wonderful, vibrant. I got the maroon and the rust colors (can't remember what the exact color names are). The only concern I have about them is that they seem to snag a bit too easily. I also wish they were reversible so I could turn them over or place them on the towel racks without being concerned whether the braiding is visible. These are not the thickest towels you can get, but we like this medium pile depth. Another thing to note is that we don't use most of these towels a lot; they just hang there for the color effect. However, we wash the hand towels weekly and so far, so good, except for the occasional snagging. Can't figure out what causes that. I recommend the towels. You'll love the colors.

Very soft and luxurious. The towels did shrink a little in washing and drying, but they are still a very good size.

I purchased several of these towels based on the very good reviews. I found them bulky, hard to fit in the cupboard. On one of the towels the ribbing has torn in just two months after purchasing. They leave a ton of lint in the dryer filter. They're big and fluffy, but I'd prefer the normal kind of soft, rather than these. I don't find them softer, but bulky and shedding fibers in the dryer filter.

I purchased 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths in reddish brown and the merlot. They match exactly to what is pictured. I can't believe the wonderful quality and thickness for the price. I have to buy more. I'm so impressed with Cotton Crafts towels. There customer service is A+ also.

We desperately needed new towels, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I found these on Amazon and decided to purchase them, as it seemed like a good price. We received them quickly and absolutely love them. They are very soft even though I have washed them several times. The color (we got the off-white) is exactly what I thought it would be and we are very happy with this purchase. I will most likely being purchasing these again in the future.
