Big Things Poppin', January 3, 2011
Being such a big fan of Mtv's "Rob & Big", I was very excited when I heard that the Chunky Boyz were dropping an album. When it arrived in my mailbox, I quickly unwrapped it and put it in my car stereo. I was awesome. True, they might not get as many as "5 mics" in The Source, but I liked it. Big Black and Bam Bam are very entertaining in they're rhymes. It seems that Bam Bam takes his verses more seriously than Black but it's a nice mixture of styles. They rap about pulling girls, staying fly despite their 6X size, and struggles they both had as overweight guys coming up. I was hopping the guys would have "Pull Your Belly Out" and "Dirty Girl" with Rob Dyrdek as "Bobby Light" but these two songs are not included on the album. I hope to see more releases from The Chunky Boyz in the future because they know what to do when they're behind a micraphone.
