This book was absolutely hilarious at so many points, The nicknames Ms. Baughn gave to her dates to protect their true identity were more than most of them deserved but so humorous. The stories are written in a serious yet lighthearted way that every woman who finds herself in the situation of being divorced, larger than life, scared and a bit gun shy of getting back into the dating scene. I personally am a happily married woman but still was able to find Ms Baughn's humor enlightening as many of my friends and family have had similar stories and I even found ideas to help some of my other friends through dating disasters. I have recommended this book to several people and I have loaned it to a few in hopes they will purchase one to add to their personal library. I too have to say, if you read the description given by Amazon you will see it clearly states the book is only 76 pages (aka pamphlet size). Just remember when you come home from a botched rendezvous or being stood up, it could be worse, you could have dated or even married one of these Casanova's. I truly hope to one day read a sequel to Overweight, Over 30 and Dating again to see even more misadventures in dating and to see if Ms. Baughn ever finds her Knight in Shining Armor instead of a Turkey in Tinfoil.

This book, which I read in draft form, is a lot of fun. If you have ever used the internet to date, this book will hit home whether you are a man or woman. It might scare you away from dating that way if you haven't. Kim is light hearted throughout and takes you on her dates with you. Very nice "fly on the wall" sort of feeling.

This was a real fun read. Thanks Kim for giving us a window into you life. It was fun getting to know you and spending some time with you. You are obviously true to and accepting of yourself. We can learn from your openness, to take life as it is and have fun with it, funny or shocking. By the way, I was not dissapointed with this book because I knew what I was getting. I read Amazon's product detail before I buy a book that is 76 pages and pamphlet size. Size does not always matter, its the story or life that's inside. Kim, I will take a chance on your next book too!!!!

I was really looking forward to reading this book and I was severely disappointed! It was more like a booklet than an actual book. It was 76 pages and almost half of them weren't even full pages!I can't believe that I wasted money on this pointless "book".
