I was so impressed by this book that I have bought that I read it in one sitting. I believe Jennifer is meeting a need not only for the single mom, but also for the ones that work with single moms. I pray that church leaders will take this book and use it for the individual and for group studies. This book is also for everyone that has experienced spiritual, emotional, money matters, and physical situations that have been overwhelming. All parents can find help here on child rearing. Do I give the idea that this book should be in all homes? I hope so. One thing I will add: believe this author. Her book is all true and she has opened herself up to be a help and encouragement to all those that need it.

Loved reading Overwhelmed, the life of a single mom. It was given to me by a friend and I was skeptical. I've read multiple books on the same topic, looking for something to relate to my life as a single mom and have been disapointed every time with the books out there. but this time, i was engaged immediately and read it in two sittings. this book is very helpful, encouraging/empowering and a necessary resource for single moms!

I give hope to single mothers all over America and I will definately be sharing this book with them. Jennifer has experienced a life that few people have been called upon to endure, but God has miraculously used her painful and tragic upbringing for good. If God can raise up a woman of God out of all that she has been through, then there's hope for any single mother out there. Yes, read the book and pass it along to others.

Jennifer's story is larger than a single mom story. It's a story of how God can take a not-so-perfect beginning and use it to create a nationwide minstry that aids exhausted, hopeless single parents. Overwhelmed was a brave endeavor, revealing so many personal stories of the traumas Jennifer faced while growing up. In some ways, it could be called Overcome. This book is a great read for anyone needing some hope that the pit they are in can be overcome. Look what God did for Jennifer. This is truly a book of hope. Don't miss it.

While not a single mom, I still gained so much from reading this book. It was so engaging I read it in one night, and eagerly passed it on to a friend the next day. I highly recommend this book to anyone, and feel anyone can gain insight and tools to better their life. It is the type of book you can but on the bookshelf and benefit from rereading each year.
