I was so impressed by this book that I have bought that I read it in one sitting. I believe Jennifer is meeting a need not only for the single mom, but also for the ones that work with single moms. I pray that church leaders will take this book and use it for the individual and for group studies. This book is also for everyone that has experienced spiritual, emotional, money matters, and physical situations that have been overwhelming. All parents can find help here on child rearing. Do I give the idea that this book should be in all homes? I hope so. One thing I will add: believe this author. Her book is all true and she has opened herself up to be a help and encouragement to all those that need it.

Loved reading Overwhelmed, the life of a single mom. It was given to me by a friend and I was skeptical. I've read multiple books on the same topic, looking for something to relate to my life as a single mom and have been disapointed every time with the books out there. but this time, i was engaged immediately and read it in two sittings. this book is very helpful, encouraging/empowering and a necessary resource for single moms!

I give hope to single mothers all over America and I will definately be sharing this book with them. Jennifer has experienced a life that few people have been called upon to endure, but God has miraculously used her painful and tragic upbringing for good. If God can raise up a woman of God out of all that she has been through, then there's hope for any single mother out there. Yes, read the book and pass it along to others.

Finally, a book that tells it like it is, but from a Godly perspective. I'm so glad that someone cared enough about single mothers and all that we go through to write an instruction manual for us! Jennifer really reminds us that God loves us no matter what kind of baggage we have and that eventually, if we continue in His path, He will bring the desires of our hearts for a stable family to fruition. How awesome!!!

I am not a single Mom, but I still loved the book. I have a soft spot for single Moms since I watched my little sister struggle and fight to stay afloat for years. How I wish she would have had this book in her arsenal during that time of her life! I highly reccomend this book to anyone who is or who has ever struggled with finding their way in life.
