Book Description

September 28, 2009
This is a true story about poverty, religion, alcohol, multiple murders, multiple suicides and tragic losses from cancer and automobile accidents in the family. It also describes questionable surgical procedures and details step by step how Alzheimers/Dementia begins and continues three years after diagnosis to a point of no memory of a previous life. You will also learn what it was like growing up in poverty and not knowing it. It will amaze you how alcohol affects a family even though religion was an integral part of it.

About the Author

He is 72 years old, born January 29, 1937, in the small town of Elkin, North Carolina. His first employment began at age 13 and was mostly a projectionist in movie theaters. At the age of 17 he married Faye Wilmoth, then served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He then worked nearly 20 years with Western Union, retired and then worked another 20 years with R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., retiring at the age of 57.
