Editorial Reviews

Review

Witty and entertaining while remaining wise, O'Faolain's fairytales wring joy out of suffering and infuse jilted and otherwise disappointed romantic and artistic souls with courage in facing love's betrayals by offering unusual perspectives. --Book Niche

Discovered the book a week ago and then enjoyed every story. Recognizing myself in quite a few or wishing to be. I hope to draw on the wisdom that is in them.
The illustrations from Anna are exquisite. So detailed, even after looking at them for a long time there is still more to discover. Getting lost in the colors.
Surely a book that I will keep close to me and share with others.
