After twenty-five years of ministry, including eight years as a missionary in Japan and Korea and then four years as President of Mount Vernon Bible College in Ohio, Harold faced the need to develop meaningful support for the college. That led him into the field of fundraising and gift planning in particular. He now provides instruction for believers and a coaching ministry for local churches.
A winner of many Toastmaster awards, he has spoken across the country at national conferences and in hundreds of churches, ranging in size from 250 to over 8,000. Harold is also past president of Old Mission Rotary in San Diego and has served on numerous boards; including, the San Diego Blood Bank, the American Association of Individual Investors, and the National University Alumni Association.
