One of the best books I've read this year. Part how-to, part manifesto, this is a great book on the hows and whys of "global" investing. Not international, but global. For the beginner
This book should be called Own The World Lite, or Own the World for Dummies. It covers the why fairly well, but is short on the practical how to, and skims issues like currency risks. It's a primer if you are trying to decide to diversify overseas and not much more.

One of the best books I've read this year. Part how-to, part manifesto, this is a great book on the hows and whys of "global" investing. Not international, but global.
The book details the benefits and risks to global investing, but mostly that the benefits outweigh the risks. And, if you think you are a global or international investor, you are probably kidding yourself and aren't global enough. The book also has some interesting trivia and anecdotes that keep it lively. This would be a great father's day gift or graduation gift for investing enthusiasts.
