About the Author
John Escott began writing children's books and comic scripts, but now writes for children of all ages. He especially enjoys writing crime and mystery thrillers. With Oxford University Press John has published many books for the Oxford Bookworms series including Girl on a Motorbike, Agatha Christie and The Fly. Christine Lindop was born in New Zealand where she began her teaching career. She later taught EFL in France and Spain, and has worked as an editor, proofreader, and writer since 1993.
