For not so elementary learners...
This dictionary is meant primarily for native Urdu speakers who start learning English, and therefore it is useless for foreigners who are just beginning learning Urdu, since one needs to know already the alphabet and there is no transliteration of the Urdu words. But it must be said that for the not-so-elementary learner the dictionary is a rich source of phraseology,...

Intended for Urdu speakers learning English
This book is intended for the native Urdu speaker learning English, and will not be especially helpful in the reverse.

This dictionary is meant primarily for native Urdu speakers who start learning English, and therefore it is useless for foreigners who are just beginning learning Urdu, since one needs to know already the alphabet and there is no transliteration of the Urdu words. But it must be said that for the not-so-elementary learner the dictionary is a rich source of phraseology, and figuring out on one's own the nuances of meaning of any given word can be a fun game.
