I purchase this stand because it said it accepts 1-7/8" umbrella pole diameter. I took the two leaves out so the stand could take the widest pole diameter, and yet my 1-7/8" pole did not fit. My guess is the widest it can take is 1-5/8". Too bad as it seem like a very good stand. But, they need to get their produce description corrected. Now, I need to find another stand for my embrella.
