For a bare bones simple manual sorter, this item cannot be beat. I am disappointed with the workmanship of the specific item that I received. The individual sleeves on the unit that I received slide back and forth in the track and can rotate off of the center. However, that does not detract from the overall function of the device. The reason I am disappointed is that I used to own one that was "relocated" from my work place and that one was solid so I know the company can assemble the item with better workmanship. Nothing I said would stop me from buying this device again if the one I now have is "relocated".

Excellent product. Has come in handy in organizing all my paperwork I needed to file.

I had used these sorters forever when I was working and now needing one at home I assumed it would be an easy thing to go to an office supply store and buy one. This was not the case. Nobody had any idea what this thing was!!!! Thank you Amazon. This is the best and I always want one for personal use.

I am constantly sorting receipts and the general purpose sorter works fantastic! My time to organize my bills and receipts has decreased.

I have a HUGE stack of things to file and this sorter is indispensible! I had one before at a previous work location and loved it... really makes putting things in alphabetical order much easier and quicker. This one is also set up to sort by month, days (1-31), or numerically (10's & 100's). I bought this for home use primarily, but will also take it to school when I need to file end of the year paperwork.
I tried to find one locally but the chain office supply stores only carry them online... Amazon was less expensive and had free shipping. No brainer! If you have papers to keep track of, I would definitely recommend this sorter.

I Have a printing business and we file samples at least 3 times a week. This simple divice really helps us sort the material to be filed. I recommend it.

When you have a lot of papers or folders to be filed in a file drawer, the task is much quicker if you can pre-sort the stuff to be filed at the comfort of your desk or work table before you stand at the file cabinet. This simple tool does the trick, whether you are filing alphabetically, numerically, or by date. Since buying one of these for my assistant, the once-looming to-be-filed pile has disappeared, because this makes filing much easier. Unless you have a paperless office, this tool is a good investment.

This sorter makes my job so much easier. It could not be better. I receive stacks of invoices to file daily and this simple sorter makes filing a breeze.

I used to use this when I worked in an insurance office. Always needed one for home, and had the worst time trying to find one in an office supply store. I was so happy to find it after searching on Amazon! One thing I love about Amazon is that you can find almost anything on here. That's why I keep coming back after all these years. :)
