It is all about the Pictures
This dictionary is very excellent for both the native spanish speaker who wants to learn english and native english speaker who wants to learn spanish. The pictures are well thought out and illustrate the meanings very effectively.

great for situational vocab
i use this picture dictionary to tutor an ESL student with very little english skills. the pictures have number labels and at the bottom of the page is the vocal in spanish and english. it's easy to quiz by just covering up the vocab. what would be nice is if it had more adjectives rather than mostly nouns/verbs.

I got this book to aid in teaching English to Hispanics. There are a lot of good pictures and phrases that they will use in daily living. Great resource for vocab. I wish there were more phrases. I bought this one week on amazon when it was $4.99. Maybe the price will go down again.
