4.0 out of 5 stars Good looking display case
The finish of the wood was good. The quality of the furniture was better than I had expected. It went together fairly easily. The directions are not well written nor are they complete so it is a good idea to figure out how the piece goes together before you start. All the needed pieces were present, well packaged and labeled.

3.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful But Flimsy -- Requires Extra Support
This is a beautiful-looking bookshelf, truly unique with the backing and glass doors (kind of like a lawyer's bookcase), however, it's made of very flimsy wood and requires extra support. This is a beautiful-looking bookshelf, truly unique with the backing and glass doors (kind of like a lawyer's bookcase), however, it's made of very flimsy wood and requires extra support. I hired a handyman who was able to add extra support to the very thin backboard. Also, it takes a long time to screw things in by hand, but with a drill, you run the risk of stripping the screws since the screws that come with it are barely big enough for the holes.

Also, this piece came all as one, and it was VERY heavy. The packaging was sufficient, and it wasn't damaged, which was great.

All in all, this is a great-looking piece if you have the knowledge or help to make it sturdier.
