This is a very fun CD to listen to. It's great for in the car or at home or work. Also, kids love this one.
Oxhorn/Brandon M. Dennis has done a wonderful job with this collection and all the songs/skits on it are excellent.
The first song, "I Saw Three Rogues," is a very funny take on an old Christmas classic, as is his rendition of "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire", which he titles "Elf Ears Roasting on an Open Fire."
The first skit in the album, "Frosty", is a very funny view of everyone's favorite snowman - with a twist.
The next song in the album, "Vanity Pets," based on "Little Drummer Boy", is a quirky song sung to a haunting melody, much like that of some of Mendelssohn's works.
"Night Elves We Have Strung on High" is probably my favorite song in the album, with its cheers of "KILL ALL ELVES!". It's set to a rock beat much like Trans-Siberian Orchestra's music.
"Merry Breakfast" is one of those skits where you feel like you know what will happen the second or third time through the caroling, but it definitely ends with a surprise.
His next song, "Hark! Hear the Wails", is based off of a song known to me as "Ukranian Bell Carol." It's also the Burger King theme song. Very good and funny rendition of it.
The third skit in the album, "Secret Santa," is about the Oxhorn cast's failure to do anything right in a secret Santa. Has everyone's favorite turtle, Hat, in it.
"We Three Dwarves of Ironforge" is one of those great Christmas-turned-drinking songs. Excellent song.
Oxhorn's next skit, "Nutcracker", is about a giant nutcracker built by a goblin that goes on a rampage through a bunch of stupid orcs.
"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like This Raid Isn't Going to Happen" is a fun poke at the makers of World of Warcraft, and some of the people who play it.
"Rudolph" is the next skit, about reindeer, lawyers, and Santa.
"I'm Dreaming of an Epic Flying Mount" is based on "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" and is a very funny, but kind of sad story about a guy who spends his life playing World of Warcraft to get to ride on a flying mount.
"The Orna-Print Salesman" is a skit that makes fun of the Figure-Prints collection that World of Warcraft produces. They all have really high prices and not many people buy the figures.
"Joy to the World Finale" is the last song in the album, but it's definitely one of the funniest with Brandon singing almost as high-pitched as he can to get the high notes.
"Outtakes FTW" is all of the failed attempts (all of them funny) of Oxhorn's attempts to get the songs/skits right.
Overall, this is a great collection and would make a perfect gift for any nerd/geek in the family.
