Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) I needed to use this brand-new plunger the very day I received it. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it plunged, as my old one required a lot of muscle to operate. After the plunger had done its job, I was really appreciative of the self-opening and closing storage pod. No muss, no fuss...just how I like it!!

This looked like it was going to be great - it seemed sanitary and well made. However what you can't see is that the rubber cup at the end is quite small compared to other plungers. (Presumably so that it can fit into its case.) Because the cup is small, it does not fit around the more rectangular exit hole in my toilet bowl. Therefore it does not make a seal, and is effectively useless.

However as a bathroom accessory, it is attractive, seems clean, and superficially it seems very well made. Other than the fact that it can serve no actual use, I think it's great.

I have always thought an old black or red rubber plunger was so ugly especially it you've just painted and papered and sprused up your bathroom. Well now with the plunger covered up in a nice package it fits right in and looks just great. My "doubting Thomas" husband, loves it.
