Grate, measure and pour with the OXO GOOD GRIPS i-Series Container Grater. This useful tool features a bi-directional blade that lets you grate in both directions for quicker results. The stainless steel blade is stamped with our unique pattern for sharp edges. Grate directly into the clear, polycarbonate container with measurement markings so you know when you've grated just enough for your favorite recipe. Then use the pour spout to neatly sprinkle freshly grated parmesan over pasta or chocolate shavings onto ice cream. The soft, non-slip areas on the bottom and side of the container and a contoured container body allow for many comfortable grips. And clean up is a snap! Just detach the blade from the container and place both parts in the dishwasher.

The holes are really small. This grater is suitable for hard cheeses like Romano, but forget using it for a softer cheese like cheddar.

I have larger graters and micro graters, but this is my go-to grater. It is perfect for hard cheese, zesting, and other fine-grating jobs. The grater works both directions for fast work. The container catches and measures (up to 1 cup). The shape of the cup is easy to grip. It comes apart at a touch for cleaning. I find myself giving it as gifts because friends who see it like it too.

This is such a great grater! I hated taking out the huge grater to grate a little bit of cheese, but this one is so small and easy to use. It is also convenient to have the measuring cup in the back. Would highly recommend it.
