The OXO 2-cup stainless measuring cup is the perfect measuring cup. It won't crack when you pour boiling water in it. It is shaped and marked so you can easily look down from the top and see just exactly how much you have put in it. I admit I didn't quite believe that till I got it. It is 100% true. The handle is the typical OXO black insulated material so you don't get burned and it is balanced to make pouring easy. The "funnel" lip avoids spills.

It is truly the perfect measuring cup im my opinion.

I have a one cup and a two cup oxo stainless steel measuring cup and I just love them, they are so much better then the plastic ones that crack and scratch so easily. I have recommended these to many people, and I have yet to see them in any kitchen store.

Is there a better measuring cup? It is ergonomic--soft rubber handle, read from above and all that. But look at the design. This cup should be in a museum collection if it is not already. Buy all three--comes in 1 cup, 2 cup, and a mini (2 oz. without a handle) and you will have a nifty display of modern sculpture in your kitchen.

Other reviewers are absolutely not kidding that the design of this product is great, but that the adhesive used for the labels is a frustrating misstep. For a company that prides itself on ergonomics, this is more than just a minor annoyance; it's a significant screw-up.

I was aware of these reviews when I purchased, but I figured that the difficulty was overblown and a lifetime of great design would easily offset a few extra minutes of elbow grease. I was wrong. Spending that much time and various cleaning fluids to ready the product for its first use is really unforgivable. Worse yet, the residue is inside the cup, calling into doubt whether it's a good idea to let food products come into contact with the interior until all of the adhesive has been defeated.

I simply cannot recommend this product to others until Oxo fixes this. This is the first time I have been less than 100% satisfied with an Oxo design.

Love the cup - but like a few of the other reviewers I had trouble removing the stickers. Once I got the plastic part peeled off I was left with a super-sticky coating that "Goo Gone" would not budge. NAIL POLISH REMOVER worked like a charm and removed all the residue in seconds (without damaging the finish on the metal), and now we're good to measure. Now I can measure hot liquids without worrying about melting a plastic cup!

This is one of my best purchases. The measuring cup is heat-resistant so it doesn't crack or get scratches like the plastic cups. It doesn't break either making it worth the extra bucks.

Love, Love, Love that I can see the measuring lines without having to lift and peer from the side of the cup.

The cup itself is pretty good although the measurement markings could be better, they are small and not as legible as they could be.

The labels are ridiculous. They are designed with a plastic coating which prevents normal label removing solvents from getting to the glue and are completely impossible to get off by hand.

What I finally did was fill it with boiling water and let it sit for a few minutes. This softened the glue enough that I could peel off the outside labels. The bottom inside one required using a spoon under the water to get it started, then using pliers while it was still too hot to touch. Letting it cool restuck the labels.

At this point the labels were off but the glue was still on. Several applications of solvent and scrubbing with paper towels finally got most of the glue off. A final scrub with an abrasive pad and running it through the dishwasher got the remains of the glue off the surface

This is completely absurd and an example of a company with no regard for it's customers.

I was concerned about the other reviews that mentioned problems with stickers, but I had no problem. They came right off with ease. Don't let that stop you from ordering this great item. It looks amazing and is super sturdy.
