We tried these powerful shower heads in a Hilton Hotel and were impressed, so when we returned home I ordered two (one for my master bath and one for my guest suite). Both are performing outstanding! In fact, the side benefit is the significant water savings. My master bath has a roman style shower and area, water used to flood the entire floor and entry area -- now the entry area floor is nearly dry, but the force of the shower is greater than my old shower heads. Well worth the money. An excellent product easy to install and operate!

Low flow High Satisfaction,
By The only drawback I have noted is that I have had to increase the amount of hot water vs cold water that I use to take a shower that "feels" the same temperature as with my last shower head. With the lower 1.7 gpm rate I have not seen an increase in my gas bill for the higher temperature. And I have been able to have more showers taken on a single tank of hot water.

Good low flow shower head - Name is misleading,

This shower head really makes a lot of noise. I expected something special with "Spa" in the name, but there is nothing spa about it, unless you are relaxed by a loud white noise. This shower head does really well for low water pressure. If your water pressure is fine or if you are not wanting a water saving shower head, try something else.

I was pretty happy with this Oxygenics unit for the two months I had it until I bought a WaterPik Linea for our other bathroom. What a difference!
The Oxygenics unit made quite a lot of noise, almost like the roar of a jet engine from 300 feet away and had very low water flow. My hair never seemed to rinse clean of shampoo with this shower head. Oxygenics certainly pulls a good trick that probably works well for hotels trying to save water. The trick is that it feels like you're getting a decent amount of water, but your are really not. When I tried the WaterPik, the water flow was quiet, soft, and utterly comforting. And my hair rinsed very clean with the WaterPik. So I went out and bought another WaterPik to replace the Oxygenics. The Oxygenics unit is sitting in on my storage shelf now. Anybody want one? Oh and one last thing: The unit really does have too much cheap plastic that is easy to mar.

Not worth the money,

I live in an apartment that pays the water bill for me and the apartment staff recently decided to replace everyone's shower head with a water-saving low-flow model so they could maximize profit. The shower head they installed was so horrible that it increased my shower time 5x and wouldn't wash off the soap.
So...I went to the local home improvement labyrinth and bought a Peerless 5-setting shower massage head that was not cheap. Well, I couldn't stand the Peerless either. It was too soft on all settings, and not much better than the cheap lo-flow the apartment staff installed. Moving on, my friend recommended the Oxygenics. "It's the best one out there", he said. Going on a single word-of-mouth recommendation, I bought the so-called top of the line Oxygenics "5-star" model. Since hindsight is 20/20 I should have realized that I have never gotten a decent shower in any hotel/resort...even the 5-star ones. Anyway, I installed the Oxygenics. There really is a sucker born every minute, and I was one of them for buying this piece of junk. The first thing about it is the noise. It is LOUD. 3x louder than the stock showerhead, and 5x louder than the Peerless. I can't even hear my shower-radio with this thing. Second, the water sort of "sprays" out of the middle in a chaotic frenzy, attacking your skin with needle-like droplets of water. A "water wind" is generated as the water sprays forth. This thing is misty. The water droplets also disperse to the point of being ineffective by the time the water reaches you, unless you are up close to the shower head. I have good water pressure; in fact, I would say that my water pressure is excellent. Yet this shower head effectively reduces my water pressure by 75%! Third, I didn't notice any beneficial effects from the "super oxygenated" water blend. What I did notice is that my wallet was drained of another $39.95 for an ineffective product. As another reviewer suggested, the $5 shower head from the dreggs of the lower shelf at the home improvement mecca does a much, much better job than this phony. Save your money. P.S. the "adjustment knob" just cuts the water flow down to a lower flow rate. Since the shower head is ineffective at the highest rate, it certainly isn't effective at a lower GPM rate.

Does the job, but a bit disappointing,

I recently purchased the Oxygenics X-Stream Showerhead and was very pleased. It turned my shower into kind of a power shower. So I ordered this Oxygenics Spa Series Showerhead thinking it would be even better. It wasn't. The spray was much more on the gentle side. The X-Stream made much better use of my 50 psi water pressure than this one did. This Oxygenics Spa Series Showerhead may work better for people with better water pressure.

I bought the Oxygenics 5-star for my daughter to replace a water waster showerhead. She quickly complained because the stream of water was narrow and didn't rinse her long hair well. I sent the Oxygenics back and replaced it with the Delta Fluidics showerhead----it does the job. Plenty of pressure and capable of rinsing her hair.

Like most of us, I want to reduce the use of water and energy (heat, electricity, gas) in my home. When I read about the Oxygenics products, I thought this would be a good solution to cut down on water usage. It is. I feel the water pressure is very good, though you definitely realize you're getting LESS water. My wife and I don't really find it a problem. However, you do notice your legs get less water and more water vapor/mist is put in the air. Also, you use practically no cold water, as the high pressure cools the water by the time it reaches your skin form the shower head.
Overall, a good purchase at a good price. I'm recommending it to my friends.

We've been using this showerhead for a few years now. The water pressure in our shower has never been great and this showerhead was billed as magically having a forceful stream in spite of low water pressure. Saving water was also a great bonus.
If you are looking for a high-velocity, high-volume showerhead, do not purchase this product -- the stream is high-velocity but LOW volume. It takes longer to rinse shampoo out of your hair despite the high velocity stream because the volume of water delivered is simply less -- this is consistent with the water-saving properties of this showerhead, even at max flow. The stream more cone-shaped and is something like air mixed with fine water droplets which shoots out in fine water pellets. Because of the size of the water droplets, the water can feel stinging on the skin. It doesn't particularly bother me but my toddler freaks out and thinks she's being bitten (!) It's also very noisy ... almost like a loud constant hissing sound. The last thing is that the showerhead is huge. It's difficult to gauge this from the pictures; this is something to keep in mind if your showerhead pipe sits relatively low in the shower -- this thing will extend quite a distance below it, and the range of adjustment of the head is rather limited. This forces me (5'11") to slouch and bend my knees to rinse my hair when this was never the case with a traditional showerhead. We're keeping it because I'd rather save water and be mildly inconvenienced by the issues described above. That being said, I prefer showering in our other shower which has a Delta 75152 showerhead.

Increases low-flow water pressure,

This showerhead helped to increase our once-anemic water pressure. A few flaws, however, is that the showerhead can be quite noisy as it's very obvious the showerhead is pushing through additional oxygen to accelerate the water pressure.
