Looks great, but not everything I hoped and dreamed for,

This thing looks really great on the wall. My biggest complaint is the fact that if you get more than 6 or 8 inches from the head, it's barely a mist on either setting. I am very disappointed with the shower experience. The way the head sits into the little receptive to hang it on the wall is very cheesy and does not fit well.
I intend on selling it off on ebay or something. I do not recommend the oxygenated heads to anyone that likes to actually get wet in the shower

We have two Oxygenics 50527 showerhead. They work great. I don't understand the bad reviews here, as we've had no issues. This is a 5 star product!

bought this shower head and within 2 months the hose to the shower head is leaking. Called the company and they will not warranty due to were it was bought. Obviously defective regardless of where it was purchased!!!!!!

The shower head DOES NOT fit into the holder. There is a "nut" on the end of the shower head that apparently fits into a round bracket. I am returning this product.

Cheap Showerhead = Cheap Parts & Lack of Design,

Mine broke the first time I turned the shower on. The entire thing is made out of metal, except for the one piece that is really essential: where the hose connects to the head. That part is plastic. That is the part that will break if you have strong water pressure, if you drop the head, or if you use the handle to pivot the holder (how else do they expect you to pivot it?). Started with a small leak and within two minutes the entire thing broke off and I had a stream of water shooting out of the hose, over my shower door, and into the other room.
This is what I get for trusting a company I hadn't heard of, and at a price that seemed too good to be true. Do NOT buy this product. It's just a matter of time before it breaks. I will be looking for a showerhead with ALL metal parts that doesn't skimp where it's important. The only PRO is that I'm kind of happy it broke and I could return it, as the spray coming out of this thing left a lot to be desired. More of a powerful misting effect than anything else. Not at all was I was hoping for.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Oxygenics 50527 IntelliShower Handheld Showerhead, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement)
It looks heavier than it is. Actually quite a good spray. I would not accuse it of being a shower massager, though it feels good.
Installed with no trouble (plumbers' tape was included). Only problem I had was that the shower arm (pipe the showerhead connects to) came loose inside the wall and had to be retaped. |
