Our complaint is something that none of the other reviews have mentioned, so maybe we're a little weird. As far as increasing water pressure, it does a good job. And we thought the length of the hose was adequate. Our complaint is that the diameter of the spray of water is too small. With our old showerhead, the spray of water was wide and our entire body could be sprayed with water throughout the shower. However, with this showerhead, the spray of water is too small to spray the entire body at once, with the result being that the part of the body that isn't getting sprayed is getting cold. So in case you are like me and didn't notice in the photo that the showerhead opening is narrow, here's your warning. (Hope I'm making this clear...not sure I'm using the correct wording.) Another thing is that the air being forced into the water cools it down considerably, so we had to turn the hot water up a little. Maybe that's to be expected. If poor water pressure is a major issue at your house, these complaints of ours would probably be worth the trade-off. But for us, they are not worth it. We removed it and put our old showerhead back on. We'll keep searching.

This is the little showerhead that could.

What I love about this showerhead:
* It uses less water than conventional showerheads while delivering good water pressure. It is considered a low-volume showerhead.
* It uses air and mixes it into what water is available to increase the pressure. Therefore there is maximum use of water and less wastage.
* This showerhead is lightweight and won't strain old pipes and fittings unlike the heavier Waterpik brand showerheads. It is also the ideal weight for plastic showers as it won;t pull away at the liner.
* Simple grip styling makes it easy to hold in the hand whilst showering.
* Twist volume adjustment is simple and easy to use.

What I don't like about this showerhead:
* The mixing of air into the water to create pressure does make it a noisier shower experience. If you're looking for a quiet shower this is not it.
* The twist volume control can be inadvertently adjusted during the course of the shower so one needs to pay more attention to how theya re holding the grip.
* The twist volume control does not shut off the water completely for soaping up but leaves a trickle.

Note that this showerhead is completely made of plastic and as such care needs to be taken to not drop it frequently (plastic does shatter & crack when dropped). RV-ers need to be able to secure this showerhead to prevent bumping whilst on the road for increased longevity.

We have had this showerhead for 2 full RV-ing seasons and absolutely love it. It can turn the drippiest water pressure into a passable shower (though nothing like what is shown in their adverts) and we actually do feel completely clean whilst on the road.

Highly recommended for places with limited or variable water pressure, water restrictions, the eco-concious and for RV-ing

Have you ever taken a shower in a house that has low water pressure? I mean like, really low water pressure? The kind that makes you wonder, 'Is there some large animal drooling on me from above?' or think to yourself 'Is this water somehow defying the laws of physics?!'

Until recently I hadn't, so I never really thought a whole lot about water pressure. I could hardly believe how slow and weak the flow of water seemed to be in our new home. It was terrible. Intolerable. So we went looking for a solution. Tried more than a few different 'efficiency' and 'water saving' shower heads and some 'low-flow power boosting' whatevers, but none of them made any real difference.

Then we got this Oxygenics Shower Kit.

Long story short, it made a world of difference. It has saved my sanity. I never would have guessed how much I'd miss a good shower until it was gone. We're in the realm of perfectly acceptable water pressure now, but what other reviews have said is true: it's loud, it has a somewhat narrow spray, and... well, it's plastic.

I'm not sure what people are expecting when they buy a plastic shower head, but the quality is perfectly acceptable to me. It leaked at a few of the threads at first, but that's what the rubber washers and plumber's tape are for (which they give you a sufficient amount of), and now the unit is completely watertight.

Yeah, it makes a lot of noise, but that's because it is aerating the water flow to provide the pressure. It might be a little loud, but it's a small price to pay if (like me) you NEED a real solution to unbearably low water pressure. Perhaps it's even louder if you have decent pressure to begin with, but it's perfectly tolerable noise-wise for us.

It needs a better shutoff controller. When you take a short "get wet, turn off water, soap up, turn on water and rinse" shower, it is nice to have an easy shut off control on the shower head. This one has one, but you need to twist a dial-like control which is difficult to do when wet and soapy. A push button controller would have scored this a 5 star rating with me. It sprays really well and saves water.
