¡qué bien! superb Cuban rumba, February 28, 2005

I was introduced to this music during a course in Latin American Music. I was skeptical at first about heavily african influenced music, thinking it was like it is in the movies, a lot of drums and howls and such stereotypical things. That was until I listened to this music, rumba, that is, and since have come to love the music for its rich rythms, intensity and infinitely impressive improvisations. The music eventually goes strait to the heart and grabs hold, and has been so ever since I first heard the song Oyelos De Nuevo. ¡Qué Bonita esta Musica!
