Product Description

The Ozefox Runmaker cricket bat set is an inexpensive cricket set for boys & girls approx 6 yrs to 12 years old. Use it to play cricket in the backyard or in the local park. It comes with 3 batting stumps & bails to make a wicket for the batting end , a single bowling stump, the bat & hard tennis ball. Sets up quickly & easily can be used for 2 players or as many as 20 people in the one game. Fun for the whole family. Great starter set for most ages. Note 1: This is a tennis ball bat only, if you use a leather ball the bat could ( & should ) break Note 2: we designed the stumps to be smaller then full size for 2 reasons 1) harder to get batsmen out. 2) Teach children to bowl at the stumps, smaller target, better bowler. Note 3: These are size 5 sets for kids aged approx 6 yrs to 12 yrs , it's a light weight bat.

I bought the set for my kids who are 8 and 6. The quality of the stuff is fine and bat does look better quality than the wickets and bails. The ball is a tennis ball which is fine for the type of cricket my kids were going to play. The only disappointment were the wickets. The quality is not good (which is fine with me) but they are not full length wickets and are made only for toddlers. Once my kids will grow these wickets will not serve the purpose. The company can easily switch the full length wickets with the same quality of wood and then this will be a very good price for the start up kit for your kids or fun play at family outings.

This set is basic, but functional. The bat carries a warning that it is not to be used with a real cricket ball, or else it will break. It is only to be used with a tennis ball. It's a fun, low cost set to use with your children, but don't buy it if you are planning to use a real cricket ball.
