The Ozeri Gen II Digital MultiFunction Bathroom Scale features the latest generation of InstaOn sensor technology to display and monitor your body weight, fat and water ratios, all within seconds of stepping onto the scale. This Triple Function Bathroom Scale uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), incorporating a person's age, height, gender and weight to accurately display results in increments of 0.2 pounds or 0.1 kilograms. Bioelectrical Impedance (BI) is a well established and respected method used to estimate body fat and hydration. Muscles, blood vessels and bones are body tissues with a relative high water content which conducts electricity easily. Body fat is tissue that on the other hand displays much less electric conductivity. With BIA, the Ozeri Scale sends a weak and harmless electrical current through your body to determine the amount of fat tissue. This weak electrical current is imperceptible to the user, and returns back data that is used together with the user provided weight, height, age and gender to instantly calculate body fat and body water ratios. The Ozeri Gen II Digital MultiFunction Bathroom Scale displays results on an easy to read bright 3.5” diagonal LCD screen. I was a bit hesitant after seeing some of the reviews, but i decided to buy it anyways because it was so cheap, and i was not disappointed. I had a really expensive similar Homedics scale from Bed Bath & Beyond for almost triple the cost before it broke down. This is just as accurate as my old one, if not better since it was so cheap.Setting it up was a tad bit easier than the Homedics one I had. But once you set it up, the readings are quick and easy. I would definitely buy again.

This multifunction scale is a great bargain! Its very economical, yet it works just as fine as more expensive scales! To be honest, at this price, I thought I'd be making some sacrifices on build quality and just overall quality of the product, but the construction is very durable and sturdy. As for consistency, I got on and off a few times and the scale was accurate within a pound every time, which is pretty good considering the scale I had before would fluctuate almost up to 10 lbs sometimes. Setting the scale up the first time is fairly simple, and the directions were easy to follow. So far, my experience with this scale has been superb and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it.

I've been using this scale for over a month and am very pleased with it. First, the design: it is very sturdy and looks nice, in my opinion, and would probably complement most bathroom floors. I don't have a problem reading the display with 20/200 vision (okay maybe a little squinting involved). As far as accuracy, it seems very consistent for me but I haven't checked its precision to the pound. I will say that my old scale showed a five pound difference and after a visit to the doctor's scale, this new one jived much better. Now the features: it is very helpful to have one stop shopping for body fat% and water%. It calculates this very quickly and also seems consistent from day to day (I normally use the scale first thing in the morning). Setting up users (up to 10) is simple and quick, after a quick glance at the instructions. Selecting the user is also easy, but takes a few times to get the hang. You first step on the scale with one foot so you can quickly remove it after your user number pops up. At first, I didn't take my foot off quickly enough and it would scroll through all the user numbers (even if none of the others were set up). But you soon get used to the procedure and won't have any problems. Overall this is a great value and I highly recommend this scale. I'd still consider it at twice the price. I'm happy with the purchase ... now I just need to lose more weight!
