I was a bit hesitant after seeing some of the reviews, but i decided to buy it anyways because it was so cheap, and i was not disappointed. I had a really expensive similar Homedics scale from Bed Bath & Beyond for almost triple the cost before it broke down. This is just as accurate as my old one, if not better since it was so cheap.Setting it up was a tad bit easier than the Homedics one I had. But once you set it up, the readings are quick and easy. I would definitely buy again.

This multifunction scale is a great bargain! Its very economical, yet it works just as fine as more expensive scales! To be honest, at this price, I thought I'd be making some sacrifices on build quality and just overall quality of the product, but the construction is very durable and sturdy. As for consistency, I got on and off a few times and the scale was accurate within a pound every time, which is pretty good considering the scale I had before would fluctuate almost up to 10 lbs sometimes. Setting the scale up the first time is fairly simple, and the directions were easy to follow. So far, my experience with this scale has been superb and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it.

So far, this scale is perfect and is just what I was looking for. It feels very solid and sturdy, and not mention it looks fantastic. I've only just received this but it seems to be accurate and consistent. If you're worried that this scale is too complicated to set up and use, its not. After I opened it, I had it up and running within a few minutes, and once you have it set up, its a real breeze to use. I would definately buy again.

I've been using this scale for over a month and am very pleased with it. First, the design: it is very sturdy and looks nice, in my opinion, and would probably complement most bathroom floors. I don't have a problem reading the display with 20/200 vision (okay maybe a little squinting involved). As far as accuracy, it seems very consistent for me but I haven't checked its precision to the pound. I will say that my old scale showed a five pound difference and after a visit to the doctor's scale, this new one jived much better. Now the features: it is very helpful to have one stop shopping for body fat% and water%. It calculates this very quickly and also seems consistent from day to day (I normally use the scale first thing in the morning). Setting up users (up to 10) is simple and quick, after a quick glance at the instructions. Selecting the user is also easy, but takes a few times to get the hang. You first step on the scale with one foot so you can quickly remove it after your user number pops up. At first, I didn't take my foot off quickly enough and it would scroll through all the user numbers (even if none of the others were set up). But you soon get used to the procedure and won't have any problems. Overall this is a great value and I highly recommend this scale. I'd still consider it at twice the price. I'm happy with the purchase ... now I just need to lose more weight!

Works and Looks great. Once you set it up, its really easy and convenient to use. I definitely recommend it.

2010 is about to start and I finally purchased a scale, to moniter my body weight. I was surprised with this Ozeri scale features, in addition to weighting my body, I can also control my body fat & water weight.The Ozeri scale has performed exceptionally well and I am satisfied with the performance. I will highly recomend the Ozeri scales to any friend.

We bought 3 of their products after receiving an email promo from a friend. Very happy with the products and what a great deal. We had to contact them for an issue with one product that was not turning on and it turns out we had not removed the battery protective slip that it shipped with the product to prevent it from turning on during shipping. At first I was concerned with that one negative review about customers who bought and rated several products, but ending up buying 3 products based on the promotion we received, so not sure the others didn't do that too. Can't tell you how long the promotional prices will last as that wasn't written in the email, but these prices are great. BTW, one thing the manual was not clear about on the bathroom scale was taking off your socks for the Fat and Water readings. It took me a couple tries before I realized that.

I have owned this scale now for two weeks. It is a great buy. This review will cover customer service, price, appearance, and performance. Overall, I rate this with 5 stars. The scale works great and I would recommend it for the price and the features along with the appearance - for under $40 you cannot go wrong.

Customer Service: Outstanding delivery shipped fast to APO in Iraq - scale was packaged and well protected and about 10 days earlier than projected. That is awesome and the shipping was free (supersaver).

Price: Very reasonable for the features.

Appearance and functionality: Clean and will look nice in any bathroom (I plan on shipping it home after deployment). Clear glass and two nice stainless steel areas to step on. Even a large person should not have a problem with this scale - plenty of room for your feet.

Performance of the features:
1. Manual & Set-up: Pretty basic and easy to follow. The setup is simple and took only a minute. Also, a nice feature of the manual shows age and percentile norms as a handy quick reference guide to see where you land within your age and gender group. The manual is also made of a coated and durable paper material so it should last. The directions are simple and the scale is very easy to operate.

2. Regular Mode: All you need to do is gently tap on the scale and WAIT for the ZEROs to appear. Do not get on the scale while the dashes are showing, wait until the ZEROES appear; otherwise, you will not get an accurate reading. The scale is calibrated and accurate and is within 1/2 lb of a certifed and calibrated scale in our gym; so, I find it to be reliable.

3. Advanced Weight/Body-fat%/Hydration Mode:

A. I noticed prior to purchasing that several people commnented that in this mode the weight is a pound or two lighter than in the regular weigh in mode. I had the same experience; however, it only happened when I stepped on it in this mode with the dashes showing prior to the (0/0) display. That is operator error and does not reflect on the scale.

B. For the initial settings in this mode you will press the center button and then enter your gender, height and age, while the left and right buttons move each category up or down to reflect gender, height and age. After you press the the center button the gender, height and age button the weight will appear with several dashes on the display for a short time perod. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST WAIT FOR THE SCALE TO SHOW ZEROES (0.0). IF YOU STEP ON THE SCALE WITH THE DASHES IN THIS MODE YOU WILL GET A FALSE READ OF 1-2 LBS LIGHTER. SOMETIMES THE SCALE WILL NOT GO TO ZERO (0.0) AND YOU MUST GO THROUGH THE PROCESS AGAIN OF PRESSING THE BUTTONS FOR YOUR DATATO ENSURE IT IS SETUP CORRECTLY.

C. Once you have your settings you can register up to ten people on the same scale. My roommate and I both have our data in the scale and it holds it. After the intiial setting all you need to do is gently press on the scale with your foot and wait for your number to display, and once you see the (0.0) it is ready for you to weigh in.

D. Body fat %: This is a consistent feature from the electric pulse sent through the body (of course, follow the directions and make sure you are barefoot on the scale). Some reviewers find that annoying - I disagree since the electic pulse (which you cannot feel) will not work without contact to the skin. This % consistently resembles the BMI formula I use. I am sure there is a deviation here (maybe 1-5%) but as long as it shows trends upward or downward I am pleased. The scale suits my purpose - tracking my trends over time.

E. Hydration %: I find this convenient after a workout to make sure I rehydrate - you can use the manual to see what the norm is for your age and gender.

Conclusion: The scale works great and I would highly recommend it for the price and the features along with the appearance - for under $40 you cannot go wrong. If you are in need of scale to track your weight and body fat % changes then this scale will meet your expectations. I would also recommend the myotape tape measure and measure your waist and hips to track your health. Good luck with all your health and fitness and goals!

I work out two to three times a week at a local gym. At the gym I would check my weight and body fat weekly, and chat to monitor over the year. With this scale I can check it at home, no more carrying the chart in my gym bag, no more have to calibrate the scale because someone messed around with it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

It's that time of year again....new year's resolutions. I finally got around to buying a scale so I could monitor my weight loss resolutions. Every day I stare at this scale and am reminded to keep going on getting to my target weight. Enough about me and more about the scale.....Product seems to work well and does not fluctuate all over the map in terms of weight readings. I added a stack of books and stood on the scale with them and then weighed the books alone to check the accuracy and it all came out perfectly. It's easy to read and I had no problems inputting the info to calculate the other measurements. On my way to a new me!
