I purchased the Tribeca Anywhere Fireplace and this fuel to go with it. It performed as described and 1 bottle lasted 2.5 hours when the fire was at "full blast". The 1 star deduction is for a slight smell once the fireplace extinguishes itself. It was mild, but noticeable (though not that bad), and dissipated by the morning, which was the next time I came downstairs. I did find it for less elsewhere, however.

We have now burned 2 bottles our second 6-pack of OZO fire bio-ethanol fuel, and with both bottles we have had a bad smell and discoloration of our beautiful Chimo fireplace as the flame went out at the end. It looks and smells like burning plastic residue. Our first 6-pack of OZO fuel was fine. We can't remember if the labeling was the exact same or not. Now we need to figure out how to get rid of this stuff, and will never buy this brand again. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Bio fuel has a wonderful smell (almost too good if you have little ones). Burns clean and not a danger in our household as far as ingestion. Owner's manual given to us with fireplace says a certain other company (not this one) will provide us with a coupon code and we can order it from them. Customer service is slow and inconvenient by not returning calls promptly, not answering the phone or not being allowed to hold--also couldn't get website to work. As a result I bought from this company instead--no problems.

I have used the gel fuel in the past, and it ALL has an odor, leaves residue that is not easy to clean etc. This stuff has almost no odor (and I have a rather well calibrated nose) and burns clean with no messy junk at the bottom of my fire pots!

I ordered this for our new indoor wall fireplace since the price was $6 less for same size bottle as the one that the fireplace seller stocks locally here in Chicago. When we burned one bottle over a period of 6-8 hours there was this horrible odor that permeated our apartment for 2 days! It smelled like a hair salon from the old days when women would get curly perms. Horrible sulfur smell that took days to go away. Unfortunate as this is biofriendly, we will never order or use this product again. I recommend for outdoor!!!OZOFire Bio-Ethanol for Ventless Fireplaces - 1.5 Gallons
