I bought this used...and I didn't like it. The recording of Marilyn Manson was degrading to his previous works because it sounded horrible. I've even heard Slipknot's New Abortion on the production CD, and the live version isn't all that good. I was expecting more for this CD. Next year, I hope they get better equipment and get better performers (no offense to about half that were good).

This CD was extra special as I was at the Alpine Valley venue where they taped some of the songs. Not an ounce of energy was wasted in the taping. Each of the bands come through rocking as if this is a private performance, and it was nice to finally be able to hear Slipknot and not worry about getting hit by a flying plastic beer bottle filled with dirt. If you couldn't be at the concert, buy this CD.

This is an awesome live compilation, perfect to go with Ozzfest 2001 and continue the Hard Rock and Metal tradition. Anyone with a taste for even one of the bands needs to pick it up. The quality is very good, along with the selection of songs. Favs are Slipknot's "New Abortion", OTEP's "Fillthee", nonpoint's "What A Day" and Drowning Pool's "Bodies". Incredible CD for a great price. Pick it up if ya haven't already got it!
