Rikyu Watanabe's Artwork Alone Worth The Price,
By
This review is from: P-38 Lightning (Hardcover)
As a balsa free flight model builder, I say Rikyu Watanabe's artwork alone is worth the price.
More recent digital artwork tends to have less soul and detail. Watanabe's panel lines and other great detail is what you would expect from a former WWII pilot who went on to develop his art. The book is packed with details in text also. If you want more than a few variations in color scheme, see titles in the Osprey Publications series. |
