5.0 out of 5 stars Best book I've read in a long time!
Please believe the hype! I've never read a book so well written. Mr. Ellery did an awsome job! The only complaint I have it that it's too short! I can't stop talking about it. I can't wait for the sequel?!?!?!

3.0 out of 5 stars (3.5 Stars) Friends, Family, or Foe?, December 19, 2008
This review is from: P.K.'s Betrayal: (Party King's Betrayal) (Paperback)
Terrance T. Ellery presents readers with P.K., your average joe with a live-in girlfriend named Tina that he loves. It all begins with P.K. breaking his usual routine by staying at home with his lady love this Friday instead of frequenting his the bars after work. Thrown out of sorts, Tina desperately makes a quick getaway to cancel her Friday night tryst with her lover. With just one change of venue, the dominoes begin to tumble, the cards all fall down, and mayhem begins anew within this drama filled read.

P.K's Betrayal is a fast paced read that reels the reader in as the author reveals each intriguing chapter. The finale is fantastic, and truthfully, this was a much better read than I ever imagined it could be. The flow was effective, the characters were likeable, and the suspense was interesting. I suggest that Mr. Ellery take a bit more time in having his work edited, and he will most definitely be a force to be reckoned with in the literary world! God job Mr. Ellery.

I opened this book and could not put it down. I don't want to give away the story but it is full of surprises and ends with a shocking twist. The was one of the best books I've read in awhile and ends with you being satisfied and wait for the sequel. (I hope there is one)

Sexy drama filled page turner. Ellery puts you in the minds of some very devious individuals and the end leaves you wanting more. Very well written for a new kid on the block.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book! What more can I say......, June 2, 2008
This review is from: P.K.'s Betrayal: (Party King's Betrayal) (Paperback)
I have three words to describe this book, exciting, enticing, and exuberating; it's just off the hook! The doubters and haters, yeah this book got 'em. They have to read it aloud secretly loving the eargasms. This is true talent that comes from above and this comment was typed with love.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!, August 5, 2010
This review is from: P.K.'s Betrayal: (Party King's Betrayal) (Paperback)
THIS IS A MUST READ!

I am an avid reader and I read this book in a matter of hours. It is very well written with so many twists and turns that keep you wanted to know what happens next. The ending answers a lot of questions that come up throughout the reading, however, it leaves you with a lot of questions about what happened next.

Awesome job Terrence T. Ellery, you have a fan for life!!!!P.K.'s Betrayal: (Party King's Betrayal)

5.0 out of 5 stars P.K.'s Betrayal, May 28, 2010
This review is from: P.K.'s Betrayal: (Party King's Betrayal) (Paperback)
P.K's betrayal is a present day representation of Apollo (the God of Order and Beauty), and Dionysus (the God of wine and ecstasy)

In this book, the relationships between each character were tragic, yet necessary for the birth of beauty. Characters P.K. and Hakim pray for change, and the delivery arrives in an unpleasurable way. The book is a thriller with comedic under tones involving love and marriage. But the path to marriage in this book is unusually hazardous.

Kudos!

3.0 out of 5 stars AAMBC Book Reviews, February 20, 2010
This review is from: P.K.'s Betrayal: (Party King's Betrayal) (Paperback)
Okay, where do I begin...this book was a very quick read; read it in maybe four or five hours because the chapters were very short. I couldn't put it down, not because it was so great, but because I was dying to see where this story was going. P.K. a good brother, with a horrible girlfriend, best-friend and sister, had the worst luck in this book. I was hoping some light would shed on the story, but it that never happened. I was hoping some of the wrong that was done to P.K. would be addressed, but that never happened. To read a novel with the only thing going was some great sex scenes left me wondering what the point of this story was. There were sex episode after sex episode, with farfetched scenarios and I was honestly looking for something more, but I didn't get it.

I think this story could be better if there were more depth to the characters. There were just times when I was reading this book and I was like "come on, really," and that is a feeling that a lot of readers don't like to have when they are ready to dive into a good book. The constant mention of how big Hakim's tool was, became so redundant and the ending honestly left me disappointed. I know all stories don't always have a happy ending, but an ending with justice would have left me with a smile. Just to see the evildoer's not just walk away free with no consequences. Fiction is fiction, we all know and understand, however readers like to read books where we can put ourselves or someone we know in the scenario, not wonder who does this happen too?

I didn't totally hate this story, because again it was hot, but without the sex, there was nothing more to offer. Lastly I couldn't understand how a man's best friend had no idea of who he was dating for two whole years. Things like that are not realistic and small factors like that makes the story seem too farfetched. With more dept, motive and story line this book has potential of being a five, but definitely as an erotic tale. Good luck to you Terrence and I wish you well as an author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, December 16, 2009

This review is from: P.K.'s Betrayal: (Party King's Betrayal) (Paperback)
THIS book was a great read, being a writer myself I like to read things by other authors on my down time from my own writing. IT was very fast paced. Kept me intrigued and so glued to it that I read it in one day. I am waiting on the sequel though because the ending had me with my mouth open. I LOVE STORIES LIKE THAT! I look forward to not only reading the many other books this author has in store but working with him one day as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars P.K.'s Betrayal is a must read!, February 3, 2009

As a student at Smith College, one would think I don't have time to do any other reading besides that assigned by my professors. As I walked into my apartment today, I was delighted to see that P.K.'s Betrayal had arrived. I decided to take a break from the normal academic reading, and entertain myself with this much anticipated book. Wow. P.K.'s Betrayal is one of the most thought provoking and attention holder books I have ever read. I was so into this book, I took it into the shower with me. My son knocked on the door like "moma are you okay?" I tell you, not only was I okay, but I was almost done reading the entire book. Yes, I read P.K.'s Betrayal to the very end, today! After reading this book, I started to wonder how an author could create such brilliance. I finally got it...whereas many are called, Mr. Ellery has been chosen. Mr. Ellery has gained a loyal and faithful customer who can't wait for his next publication. I pray that Gods favor continue to abide upon his mind, thoughts and the very pen he writes with. If you haven't purchased a copy of this book...what are you waiting for? I promise, I promise, you will not be disappointed! Trina
