I replaced two blown woofers in my loudspeakers with these. Their sound is pretty tight and quite loud for the power being put to them. The RMS power is quite an overstatement. I'm guessing they are really around 300-450W RMS.

This is an amazing sub for its listed price. The quality of the material used for the sub is very high and looks mean with its logo and branding on the dustcap. All in all you will not regret buying this sub especially being capable of shooting 1000RMS straight through your body, its a great buy!

I bought 2 of these subwoofers, 10 months ago. I have a Boss 2000 watt 2 channel amplifier powering them. I only keep my amp at roughly 50% power and it hits really hard. I really did not think for the price and brand, I was going to get something that sounded this good. I was proven wrong thankfully. The only thing that keeps be from giving it a five star rating is, that I don't think it is quite 1000 RMS. I would say 800 RMS is more like it. Recommended for sure!!!

hey i just got my sub its grate i love it i have a 600watt kenwood amp and it hits hard as hell with it im going to buy one more just to hit a lil harder but if ur looking for a sub that hits hard an has lots of power this is the sub u want an u cant beat the price it a good sub i give it five stars all day

these things are highly overated wont handle much power and they have a very small magnet under that fancy cover for the power they are ratted at sound like crap a set of jensens they replaced sound way better and hit way way harder and are half the power ratting buy something else.

these speakers are awesome. they pulled so hard on my amp it caught fire. crisp and clean bass. need new amp now but worth it

Those speakers were an excellent merchandise I bought and they came in about a week. My husband just love them!!!

I have two of these in my home. I haven't turned them up all the way yet (still waiting on another PTA 1400 amp). Even with just one amp running the subs in parallel I had to open some windows befor they shook out of there frames! If any one tells you you can't run car subs on a home audio system they're trying to sell you something. Every thing that I have learened about wireing and box building came from searching the net, the info is out there. I run rca with a stereo adapter from my reciver to my amp and 10awg wire to my subs and it works great! All you need to look for with these subs is an amp that can operate at 4ohms. Look for dj and concert equipment. The Pylpro stuff is cheap but I have had no issues with it running my subs. I purchased these to replace some boston 12 inchers that were capable of 300 watts a piece. These phantoms are way more efficient at pushing sound. they are very responsive even at lower power and at 1000 watts a piece much more capable of bringing the house down!

I was running this 1000-watt RMS sub at 750 watts and it blew within an hour. Sounded great when it worked...but it blew almost immediately.

Going to get another one to try it out again, but if that one blows, I'm done with BOSS subwoofers.

bought this not too long ago, shipping was excellent. It wasnt as loud as I expected it to be, and I know its not the amp because I recently bought a 3000w amp from here and got it at the same time. I had it hooked up on one channel so there is no way I did any damage to it, it just wasn't the greatest so I returned it and payed a little bit more for something much nicer.
