5.0 out of 5 stars Great item!!
This item is great for first-time installers like myself. Don't be intimidated by all the wires. You won't use all of them (if you're not installing a nav unit) so you will have some left unconnected. Just match your colors. When in doubt, compare the color guide included with the instructions and the instructions that came with your headunit. If you're installing a...

3.0 out of 5 stars PAC C2R-CHY4 FAILS
I had bought the first one and it shorted the cam-buss system out in my ram 3500 cummins after 4 months. I had the truck towed to the dealer that cost $350 to tell me that the PAC C2R-CHY4 was shorting out the buss system(I was pissed). I called the PAC company and they of course said they could not help me. I went through Amazon were I bought the unit in the first place...

When in doubt, compare the color guide included with the instructions and the instructions that came with your headunit. If you're installing a rearview camera, don't forget to connect the Reverse Gear wire on the harness with the Reverse Gear wire on the headunit harness and tap into your reverse gear wire in your vehicle (white w/ lt green stripe on 2005 Grand Cherokee). Note: PAC harness used to install a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT in a '05 Grand Cherokee).

I wanted to connect my Pioneer AVIC X910BT in my Grand Cherokee 07. It was very easy to connect and retain all factory sounds, lights, parking break, reverse and speed sensors.

I bought this to put an aftermarket HU in my 2009 Ram SLT. It plugs directly into the factory wiring and you just have to wire to the headunit. These wire colors were the same so it was ultra easy to wire. Great product at a decent price.

Works flawlessly in my 08 avenger, but christ c'mon - lower the price. Hence only 4 stars, it hurts the pockets after buying an expensive radio. The last harness i bought was for a suzuki, 17 bucks and 74 for this one???!!!!

2009 Dodge Challenger.
One year of use and works fine.
Loses one star for price. I would consider half this price to be overpriced for a cable harness... but I wasn't going to splice and dice my brand new Challenger like I used to do my other cars...

I went through Amazon were I bought the unit in the first place and they sent me a new unit, but no credit on the Dealer repair bill. So far the 2nd PAC unit has not failed yet. I'm surprised that the PAC company did not want the PAC unit back for testing to make better products?

When I received this item it appears that it is just 2 wiring harnesses. Is this correct?

There is no blue (CAN interface).

Anyone else have this issue? Is it not required?

3.0 out of 5 stars works well, sometimes, December 28, 2011

This did allow most of the steering wheel controls to work. One center button will not register for any functions and when it is cold the programed functions operate differently.(source instead of volume)

Why can't auto manufacturers be more universal so that this type of stuff isn't necessary? It worked well with my '07 aspen that had factory navigation. The new head unit works just like it should. I didn't spend the extra money for the steering wheel control adapter though. I may get it soon.

Works great, install instructions are detailed, I didn't have any issues at all. I hope it lasts because it's a little expensive, luckly I got it on sale from Amazon. 5 stars if it cost less, but then again we can thank Dodge for making a goofy wiring situation that PAC had to solve.
