We had a cat that was a very good cat until the kids came along. She hated the kids. Everywhere the kids were, she'd follow and urinate. If the baby was in the crib, she'd urinate in the crib. If the baby was on the comforter, she'd urinate on the comforter. It got to the point that we were prisoners in our own home. Everything the baby lay on could never be left out. We had to make sure all blankets and cribs and anything the baby touched were locked in a room away from the cat.

When my daughter came along, the cat went to war. She decided she'd had enough of kids and was going to abandon her litter box.

I had spent so much money trying to get the cat to use her litter box. Feliway was a failed experiment. We had it plugged in the dining room, where she decided to urinate all along one wall every single day. It did nothing to deter her. In fact, I think the Feliway just made her more upset.

UPDATE: I had been advised by some cat owners to use this product for a period of time, not to give up. We did follow that advice. It still did not work.

I originally got the diffuser from my vet to help my adopted kitty adjust to his new home. When it ran out I forgot about it until I saw the refills here. I started using it again, and my cat has stopped scratching the furniture! The price is right, much less than a new couch, and it works! I would recommend this to anyone who likes to keep the damage a cat does to a minimum.

Cat made major move at age 15. After 6 weeks, now has comfortable free range of home.

Short story. I have 4 cats. Two of them didnt get along.(the oldest and the youngest) My vet recommended Feliway. They use the pump spray in the vet office. I needed a more longer lasting product. Bought the diffuser. Easy to use, just attach diffuser to the plug in base and await the calm. It took about a week to notice the difference, and now a month later things are great. No fights,no hissing. The only downside is that my very active, very playful cat is a little less active now. Its a trade off for the calm in the others , but worth it. Amazon saved me TONS of money compared to what the pet stores wanted. Still shop around for the bast price though!

anyone who has more than one cat should use this Feliway product. I don't know what I'd do without it. I have 4 indoor cats and 3 outside ones and the indoor ones are much more calmer when I have the diffusers on. I have one in all rooms in the house except the bathrooms. Great product for a multi-cat household.

The Feliway has completely helped our cats to stop "marking their territory". I have purchased more and will continue buying Feliway to keep the peace in our home.

After moving to a new home, one of our cat's decided to start urinating around the house and after extensive veterinary evaluation for health problems - determined to be stress from the move. We tried prescription medication which unfortunately turned our male cat into a zombie and then our veterinarian recommended this product. We purchased and placed in multiple locations throughout the house and we were fortunate it worked for us. I have spoken to individuals where it has not worked but not sure they went to the extent of a full medical evaluation prior to purchase.

It has worked very well w/ my two rescue cats. One was a baby and the other is a part Maine coon cat who wants things her way, Since she is two-three years older than the baby she wasn't interested is her company. She also expressed he opinion by urinating behind a large piece of furniture. Since beginning this product they play more together and both of them can be on me, or near me at the same time It works really well.

One of my 2 cats used to spray everything, nothing would deter her. When I recently moved and I expressed my concern about this cat's spraying in a new place, a friend told me to try Feliway. I went to my local pet store and bought one that day. I plugged it in that morning and brought the cat over that afternoon. We have lived in our new home for 6 months and she has not sprayed once! I now have 2 Feliways in the house and will never be without it again. No more ruined carpet, floors, or furniture. PLUS, she's much happier and less anxious than she used to be. I only wish I had known about this product years ago!

I got 2 kittens recently. One was 6 months. The other was 3 months. After about 4 months, the older one was still very unfriendly and the younger one could not just lie down and relax. He was also peeing on stuff. A friend told me about how Feliway stopped her cat from peeing on her kitchen counters. I got it and have been using it for a few months now. The older cat is actually friendly now and the younger one has not peed out of the litter box once in the last two months. He regularly curls up on my lap and stays there, too. He doesn't get up and down repeatedly, either. I love this stuff. It has brought peace and love to my home!
