My 11 yr mixed breed has been on these for about 4 years now. I started her on these only because my other dog had OCD and had surgery. So started both of them on it. So its hard for me to see a great result like the rest of the other users, but i only wonder how bad my 11yr old would be today w/o ever being on them. She was recently diagnosed w/ 5 fused vertabre. Her holistic vet said he likes this brand because of the MSM in it. he increased her dosage to 4 a day. She is still able to jump up on the bed & couches :)

I got this product on the advice of my Vet. My six year old border collie mix was having so much difficulty in getting her rear legs under her after lying around and had stiff shoulder muscles also. She's 66 lbs. so I started her on 3 pieces daily for a month and now she get only two daily. Almost all of her difficulties have disappeared and she cuts wheelies with my miniature schnauzer now. She's a changed dog and I believe even her facial expressions have changed!

This product is on the expensive side but is very much worth it. I highly recommend it.

Our vet recommended these to us for our arthritic German Shepherds (8 and 12) in conjunction with other treatments. They absolutely LOVE them. But beware, they do smell horrible to humans. These are much better received than any of the other glucosamine pills we tried; I even use them for a bit of training after dinner because they'll do just about anything to get one.

our elderly dog greatly improved from this product previosly. therefore i ordered the 3 pack deal. i was very dissapointed that it was stopped by our customs in melbourne. they will not let it thru in australia.

I have both my older dogs on the this and it has made a big difference. This is definitely the best of this type of product that I have tried so far! Has everything they need in a great tasting chewable pill.

My story is similar to most of the others. My Dobbie/Shepard hips had gotten so bad at around 5 yrs, We started to notice she could no longer take long walks without stopping and laying down before continuing on then couldn't hardly move for days after. As it was to late for surgery the Vet recommended giving her A Bufferin Aspirin every morning as well as Glyco-Flex, ever Since she has been a different Dog! Especially when I switched from Glyco Flex II to III she has much more pep in her step, & again trying to keep up with our other Dog. Although we avoid the long walks she can still walk around the woods & plays in the water too. She is a much happier Dog these days, Since changing from the pill form to the soft chews every morning she greets me at my bedroom door waiting on her daily dose of meds. Loves the taste of treats as well... So if you have what my husband calls A "defective Dog" they can still enjoy a much Higher Quality & far less painless life...

My dog really enjoys the treats and it has helped her out greatly. She is able to play all day long with no hip problems at night. I would recommend this project to people whose dog may have the beginning stages of hip problems.

I know this is long, please read it if you are looking to help a cripled dog.

WE started glycoflex 3 in june for a 4 year old cripled black lab mix Tootsie. Over the last 2 years Tootsie has had tplo surgery on her left leg and repair of luxated patella and torn acl on the right leg. the ortho vet kept us on pain meds and kept telling us she should be able to use the legs, she could /would not. we carried her up and down stairs (she weighs 50 lbs) walked her with slings and even tried a wheel chair in desparation. no luck she managed on her front legs only, lifting her rear in to the air. while this was amazing we were sure we were lookng at a very sad life for her in the future.

We discussed this with her regular vet, tried the adequan injections and steriods..rimadyl and deramax. all are good products, but nothing was helping. She just could not stand for her rear legs to touch ther ground or to be touched. when the vet moved them it was like moving bone on bone.

At this point we had decided to just keep her comfortable and help her to be happy as long as we could when our Doc asked us to try one more thing. so we started 1 glycoflex 3 chew every evening .

Within a few weeks she seemed more happy, we figured it was from being off the pain meds and nsaids. after 5-6 weeks we noticed something amazing. when she walked she used 3 legs sometimes and was moving both rear legs, she was happier than she had been in months and actually played with our other lab... after 2 more weeks she consistantly uses the 3rd leg to walk and now uses the 4th leg about 1/2 the time. we have had NO PAIN MEDS in 10 weeks.

Today tootsie can step up over a thershold step by herself. she can climb up onto the golf cart to go for her favorite of all things a ride in the woods. and when she is riding she jumps off and trots on 3 and sometimes 4 legs along the path for a while she seems to smile all the time and if you love your dogs like we love ours you know that this is the best thing ever. oh yeah last night she chased Blue out the dog door. jumped right out it.

i am not sure what is in these chews. i am just amazed is all.. Oh yeah and we just have to give them to her, no forcing them down her throat. she eats them right up and our other dog is jealous. we will probaly start him on them before he gets arthritic as well

I have been giving this supplement to my 9 year old Lab/Spaniel mix for approximately 3 years. The improvement was unbelieveable! She hurt so bad she was licking a hotspot to the point she needed surgery to close it. It got so bad she walked on just 3 legs most of the time, her leg hurt so bad. Within a month of the start of the Glyco-flex III she was once again walking on all four legs, and the hotspot is a distant memory.

I have friends that were so impressed after seeing the amazing improvement they started their dogs on the Glyco-flex III also. They will not take a chance on any other product after witnessing the return of my puppy back to me!!!! Thank you Glyco-flex!

If you have decided to try a Glucosimine supplement for your arthritic, achey dog, I highly recommend trying this product. I have been using it twice daily for two years on my arthritic Chocolate Lab and a mixed breed Lab, and it is well tolerated and obviously helpful. The effect after the first 6 weeks in my Chocolate lab were practically miraculous. She was back to jumping on beds, chasing balls, sitting up, dancing around - behaviors we hadn't seen in two years! She is still doing much better than she was two years ago before we started, despite having had an ACL repair in the intervening period. The other dog did not seem to improve much when we started, but it seemed to stop the worsening of his condition. He was getting more stiff and achey rapidly when we bagan the treatment, but he has remained at a stable level and seems not to have worsened much since we began the treats.

This seems an expensive version of Glucosamine, but it is a lot cheaper and easier on the dogs than steroid injections and pain medication. It is a mixture of several supplements and really seems effective. We have not had any digestive issues with it and it is clean, easy to use and apparently delicious. We use the chewy treat form and they both beg for it when I open the bag. If you want a supplement, this one works.
