These mugs are perfect for those of us who need a LARGE cup of coffee in the morning (and maybe in the afternoon too!). The mug really does hold 24 oz (I measured to be sure).

Since they are dishwasher and microwave safe, they would also be good for heating/serving soup. These mugs do NOT get too hot to touch after being in the microwave (this was a major complaint with many of my old mugs) - you can grab the handle just fine and the cup itself gets warm but not 'burn-yourself and drop your mug' hot.

The cobalt blue color is pretty - looks as pictured - its kinda a navy blue but with a purplish tint.

At first I thought the price with shipping was a little much for a set of mugs, but after receiving them within 4 days without issue (ie they were packed safely and none were broken/chipped) and determining that they accomplish everything I was wanting (attractive, holds a lot of coffee, dishwasher and microwave safe), about $8 a mug seems quite reasonable - I think they will get their money's worth in no time.

Only had the mugs a day, but so far I am VERY pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a large mug good for everyday use (I think I am going to buy another set in the green color).

Love my mugs. They are exactly as described. One arrived cracked..I contacted seller and left a message....within a couple of days I had a replacement...no hassles what so ever. I would buy again from this seller.

The only thing that gives me pause is that they are made in China and I'm not sure I trust that they are free of lead or other pollutants.

Yes, the mug is large. Yes, the mug is white. The handle looks right, too. Otherwise, the mug I received bears little resemblance to the one pictured in the vendor's advertisement. Specifically, the mug's profile is completely wrong. It appears slightly tapered and thicker-walled in the advertisement. What I received was straight-sided with what I consider standard - i.e., medium - thickness walls. Aesthetics was part of the reason I made the purchase; I liked the mug's looks. What I actually got - stylistically speaking - was your common, mass-produced, generic model mug being vended in every dollar-mart and discount store in the country. Functionally ... well, okay, a mug is a mug; it holds the same stuff despite the shape. But I feel that the pictorial representation was misleading if not downright deceptive.
I would note that one of the four mugs I received arrived with a broken handle - shattered, actually, into about five or six pieces - despite what appeared to be reasonably adequate packing; the mugs were individually bubble-wrapped and a lot of styrofoam peanuts were used in boxing up the mugs although there wasn't the usual cardboard separation. I guess time will tell whether or not the problem was only with shipping and handling and not manufacture and materials. Ironically, the shipment included a notice from the vendor hawking other, "strenghened" glassware products.

These mugs aren't too heavy and have a comfortable handle. Great for people who want more then a tea cup of coffee at a time.

These mugs are BIG and sturdy without being heavy. I love these mugs and use them every day. They are DEFINATELY the LARGEST and nicest mugs that I have had in my 66 years of drinking coffee! And the price is very reasonable.

When they arrived one handle was broken (THANK YOU FEDEX!) I don't know how that could happen because they are very well packed. They are wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed with plenty of "peanuts". I called Santanoni Glass & Ceramics and told them what happened. They were SUPER nice and sent a replacement right away. Got the replacement today, in 7 days from New York to Phoenix, Arizona. Now that is good service!!!

I HIGHLY recommend these mugs!!!

Holds a whole can of soup without sloshing over the brim, allows you to make oatmeal in the microwave without the risk of boiling over, an is the perfect size for chunky chili with chips. Also allows you to get a grown-up size serving of breakfast cereal.

Plus it has a handle so you can eat in front of the TV or on the porch without spilling or burning yourself.

Shipping was a little expensive (Which is a shame because these would be perfect for people who live on Ramen noodles) but this was exactly what I was looking for.

These mugs arrived quickly, in perfect condition due to the excellent packaging, and even contained a personally signed note in the box. The mugs are attractive and durable. We use them for everything from coffee to soup and more. I keep two at work and two at home but should probably buy another set since the cupboard is usually bare when I go to get one.

Nice size, keeps things hot only one problem
The mugs chip very easily. Won't buy them again. Bought 4 cups and 2 weeks later
2 are chipped.

These are FABULOUS mugs! They are BIG and sturdy! You won't be disappointed. The only thing I wish I could change would be the color. :)
